One Fox CMIS is an interface for OpenText eDOCS based on the international standard CMIS. The purpose of the CMIS standard is to make the cooperation between Document Management Systems (DMS) and other business applications much easier. Effectively, it makes organizations less depend on custom made interfaces and applications.

The international CMIS standard is used by market leading organizations like e.g. Microsoft, Oracle, Alfresco and OpenText for the synchronization of information to and from their DM Systems. Within the Netherlands, CMIS is being used more and more. KING uses the standard for their ‘DMS-part’ of the “Zaak-Document Services’, as a standardized method to link your DMS with their “Zaaksysteem”.
